1 lb. Any of Jody Maroni's Gourmet Sausages
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. lemon zest
1 lb. pasta (boiled, very al dente)
2 cups whipping cream
1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts (black walnuts if available)
1 tbsp. walnut oil
1/4 cup sherry
salt and white pepper to taste

Prebake and then brown sausages in butter and lemon zest until done. Remove from pan leaving juices in pan. Keep sausages warm in oven. Stir in cream. Walnuts, walnut oil and sherry. Reduce on low heat until slightly thickened. Add parsley and pasta and toss lightly. Salt and pepper to taste and toss again. Place pasta on platter and arrange sausages on it. Garnish with lemon slices, walnuts or parsley.
