assorted sausage (4 servings to one pound)
red, yellow, green peppers, seeded and cut into wide strips
red onions peeled and cut into large cubes
zucchini, cubed
mushrooms, whole
eggplant, cubed with skin on

Place sausage on baking sheet in oven with a little water and cook until just done.
Cut into large pieces and alternate vegetables when skewering. Use heavy wood or meat skewers. Place on grill, basting with olive oil mixed with lime juice and salt and pepper.
